This award-winning red oak hardwood floor was seamlessly expanded into the kitchen, transforming the layout into a warm, open-concept space perfect for gatherings with friends and family.
We installed 2.25″ red oak hardwood, carefully tying it into the existing flooring for a consistent, unified look.
The goal was simple: no visible transition, no mismatch — just one continuous hardwood surface that elevates the entire main level.

HOW IT WAS DONE
Precision installation + stain matching
1) Seamless tie-in
Carefully aligned new 2.25″ red oak planks with the existing floor layout
for a flawless transition into the kitchen.
2) Custom sanding + stain
Sanded the entire area to blend old and new wood, then applied
DuraSeal Medium Brown for rich, even tone.
3) Three-coat oil-based finish
Premium oil-based system enhanced the natural grain and delivered
a deep, classic glow with long-lasting protection.
