This custom-built hardwood staircase was designed and crafted from the ground up by the LUKS Construction team. Every detail was thoughtfully executed — from the initial concept to the final coat of finish.
We used premium white oak select hardwood for the treads and risers, installed at an 80-degree angle to meet modern building codes while delivering a distinctive architectural look. To enhance the design, matching white oak panels were applied to both the open stair side and the adjacent wall, visually expanding the stairwell and creating a seamless, wide-plank effect.
For a long-lasting, natural appearance, we finished the entire staircase with Bona NaturalSeal and two coats of Bona Traffic HD, a top-tier water-based finish known for durability and clarity.
