DESIGN INTENT
Modern geometry with a wide-plank visual effect
We built this stair system to feel clean, modern, and architectural. The treads and risers were installed at an 80-degree angle to meet modern building codes while delivering a distinctive, contemporary silhouette.
To enhance the design, matching white oak panels were applied to both the open stair side and the adjacent wall.
This detail visually expands the stairwell and creates a seamless, wide-plank effect — making the staircase feel larger, calmer, and more intentional.
